Reasons for ReferralWe believe here at St Pauls referral centre we offer something very different for referring practitioners. It is our aim to build on the ten years we have been established by helping other dentists in the area to reach the same goals of total patient care and truly comprehensive dentistry.
We accept referrals from all dentists for all aspects of dental care. Importantly though we want referring dentists to feel they can be involved in any parts of the treatment they wish to be. We have invested in all the latest equipment (see what we offer) so patients have an experience unparalleled to anywhere else, and will continue to invest as new innovations come to the profession.
Why We’re different
Traditionally as a profession dentists have felt disinclined to refer patients due to fear of looking less competent, or due to the risk of losing the patient altogether. This is why we want referring dentists to be part of the treatment. Once a referral is made you make an indication as to what stage you want to be involved in. This can be purely observational through to active treatment either here or in your own surgery.
It is then a natural evolutionary step that over time regularly referring dentists will feel more comfortable carrying out increasingly complex treatments themselves whilst still having the benefit of a mentorship if problems occur. We believe building strong links between all members of the profession gives patients optimum comprehensive dental care and is to the benefit of all involved.
